New Matter was founded in 2014 with a mission to bring 3D printing to every home, school, and office. Led by its flagship product, the MOD-t desktop 3D printer, New Matter is poised to revolutionize the consumer 3D printing market by providing the first and only affordable, fully integrated, end-to-end consumer 3D printing experience.

New Matter 3D Viewer

During the development of the New Matter store, it was essential to include a feature that allowed users and designers to preview uploaded or store-bought designs. To fulfill this need, the 3D viewer was developed as an integral part of the store. It allowed users to preview 3D files before purchasing or sending them for printing.

The 3D viewer was designed to cater to both experienced 3D printing users and beginners. It included a comprehensive user tutorial, making it easy to use and understand. Additionally, it offered advanced features such as the ability to adjust the size and preview objects in various colors before printing.

To ensure that the 3D viewer was responsive and accessible across all devices, a 3D web developer worked alongside the team to integrate it throughout the store. This allowed users to preview design files, upload files, and make basic edits on any device with ease.

During the development of the New Matter store, there was a need to provide users and designers without easy access or knowledge of 3D software, an easy way to preview and adjust 3D designs before purchasing or printing. To solve this problem, the team developed the 3D viewer feature, which allows users to view uploaded or store-bought designs and make adjustments to the size and color.

The goal of the New Matter store project was to create a seamless experience for users interested in 3D printing. The 3D viewer feature was developed as an integral part of the store, offering both beginners and experienced users the ability to preview and edit 3D designs before printing. The feature was designed to be user-friendly and accessible on any device, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
